Language Immersion in the Early Years

As a British school, our entire curriculum is taught in English from Pre-Nursery upwards. Our children are immersed in English from the minute they walk through the door in Pre-Nursery, and English is the primary language for all lessons, activities, events, and extracurriculars.

However, to ensure that the adults always understand and support the needs of our youngest children, one team member in each classroom, often the learning support assistant, will speak Spanish. From Year 1, students begin to study the compulsory subjects of Spanish Language and Social Sciences in Spanish with native teachers, or take Spanish Second Language lessons. As a result, all children become bilingual speakers of English and Spanish.

Early Years Facilities

The Infant playground features high-quality play equipment to develop motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving. Additionally, we offer a covered patio which is used year-round, particularly in inclement weather, ensuring children learn and play outdoors every day.
