KCS Little Camp  

DATES:  

• WEEK 1: 1st to 5th July
• WEEK 2: 8th to 12th July
• WEEK 3: 15th to 19th July
• WEEK 4: 22nd to 26th July

DURATION: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 15.30

AGES: 3-6 years old  

We create a happy and stimulating environment using a creative methodology based on practical teaching methods, such as storytelling, crafts, music and dance, to acquire language skills without realising it. Children will embark on a new adventure through different activities. 

The objectives of our camp are: 

• To do an immersion in English in order to improve global understanding. 
• To consolidate and internalise new structures and vocabulary. 
• To create situations where they can put into practice both their previous knowledge of English and what they will acquire, all in a playful context. 

Description per section: 

Every week we will travel to a new world through different topics, created specifically to improve and speed up the acquisition of the language. 

Topics: 

Storytime: 

The use of the story is key and essential when learning a language. The stories offer the opportunity to learn new language structures and vocabulary in context. 

Songs and Dances:

These are songs and choreographies created for each of the topics to help them interiorise the vocabulary. 

Arts/Crafts:

We will make crafts (masks, costumes, animal figures), through which boys and girls will develop their artistic abilities. These crafts are related to the topic of the week. 

Structured play:

Let's play! We will carry out games and psychomotricity activities designed to unite the group. We will learn to share, to wait our turn, etc. 

Exploration/Sensory Play: 

Free play time for boys and girls to start their imagination and interact with each other. 

Lunchtime:

Lunchtime is a good opportunity for boys and girls to learn vocabulary and expressions related to this routine.  

And on Fridays... Party time!

At the end of the topic, we will see everything that the children have learned during the week: dances, songs and the rest of the activities in English. We will enjoy a healthy special Friday snack.

KCS Junior English Camp

DATES:

Our Junior camp has been designed for children who wish to improve their English skills.

The objective of this camp is to make language immersion fun and natural and promote acquisition through innovative activities that improve personal communication skills. Students focus on learning a foreign language as a tool to achieve other goals, allowing them to realise the value of what they have learned and find a balance between learning and fun.

Every week we will travel to a new world through different topics, created specifically to improve and speed up the acquisition of the language.

Sports:

Different sports will be played in our camp. Football, Tennis, Basketball, Judo and Badminton. This first-class sport experience is combined with language learning and is offered within a healthy and safe environment, with first-class facilities, assisted by a team of professionals, both in sports and the linguistic fields.

Arts:

We will make crafts (masks, costumes, animal figures), through which boys and girls will develop their artistic abilities while learning different art techniques. These crafts are related to the topic of the week.

Public Speaking:

Our public speaking reinforcement activity is a unique opportunity to take advantage of the summer by improving the level of oral English, with an interactive methodology and dynamic activities. The skills taught include speaking in public, how to make a good presentation and activities to increase confidence when expressing oneself in this language.

Sensory Play:

Free play time for children to start their imagination and interact with each other.

Lunchtime:

Lunchtime is a good opportunity for children to learn vocabulary and expressions related to this routine.

KCS Junior Coding in Python and English Camp

DATES:

We have developed three interactive and practical programmes where children can grow their creative skills in many ways. They will develop their motor and cognitive abilities in a lively environment while constantly being exposed to English. Our exciting addition this year is the Coding in Python sessions taught by CodingSTEAM!

Description per section:  

At our Junior Coding in Python and English Camp, children will experience the same engaging schedule and activities as in our Junior English Camp, with the exciting addition of rotating between these activities and hands-on coding sessions taught by CodingSTEAM!

Topics: 

Coding in Python:

Children learn to problem-solve like engineers and code fluently, recognizing that mastering abstract and creative thinking in Python prepares them to tackle future challenges in emerging disciplines, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, through personalized, hands-on sessions in groups of four.
